Let me, first, precise what means 2,5 degrees. It means 2 degrees and one half of degree, that is 2°30’ and not 2°50’ : it seems obviously, but it is not.The Sun cannot stay on the cusp of DS because, if the Sun stay on the DS line, +/- 2,5 degrees, it works contemporarily in the seventh and in the sixth Houses: the Sun in the sixth House is one of the worst positions in a Solar Return Map.
2) If mars is conjunct the IC, greater than 2.5 deg and less than 5 deg, what is the effect? Is it same as having Mars in 4th or does it do more damage?
If Mars is in the third House, greater 2.5 degrees distant from FC, it is only in the third House without influences in the fourth House. If Mars is in the fourth House with a distance, from FC, greater then 2,5 degrees, it works only in the fourth House. I take this occasion to explain a thing: in another your post you wrote that I consider Mars always negative, in every House. It is almost exact, but not completely exact. For example Mars in the tenth House pushes the efforts of the subject to find a greater emancipation, in that year, and than it could be very good, for example, to learn a new language. Yet it is even true that in that year, almost surely, the subject will have problems by his mother or by his mother in law. Attention: his mother will have not problems because his son placed Mars in the tenth House. We can, putting Mars in the tenth House, increase our sensibility toward our mother problems, but we cannot increase the ones (in a different way it could mean that we are working with the Black Magic).
As you know I am travelling, but I am sure that many our friends, on this blog, will be in competition to project the best SR for your friend of January 4th (è vero Luigi, Marco, Pino, Elisabetta, Pasquale, Manu e tutti gli altri? Mi raccomando).

For Neena. OK, now, with the right latitude and the right longitude we have the exact maps. They are, descending, Natal Chart, Durban 2009, Costa Rica 2010, Olinda 2010, Maceio’ 2010, Cocos Islands November 2009 and Nagpur Sonegaon Maharashtra 2009.
I confirm you that the very difficult moment of Ravi has a only single name: the Ascendant of Durban Solar Return in the first House of his Natal Chart.Your project for a new Aimed Solar Return in Costa Rica is no good because we have the Ascendant of the Solar Return in the 12th House of the Natal Chart of Ravi and three asters in the 12th House of the Solar Return.Instead you have my compliments for the Solar Return of Olinda: it is almost perfect!
You have only to move, toward west the planets, a bit, to avoid 3 asters in the 8th House, but saving Venus in the 8th that is good for money gains. You can obtain that in Maceio’, near Olinda.Now we observe the other your November friend. Please, hold strong your attention. I advice you two locations: Cocos Islands and Nagpur Sonegaon Maharashtra, India.
For both we have a good Jupiter in the tenth House. In Cocos Map we have Mars in the third House (a few damages) and a good Venus in the sixth House (a very well protection for health, work, work relations). In the Nagpur map we have Mars in the fourth House (more difficult respect the third House with a possibility of a hospitalization), but we have Venus on the DS line (minus of 2,5 degrees from the line that is the border sixth/seventh Houses, if the birth time is correct). This position is excellent because Venus is able to save, contemporarily, health, work, work relations, law, partner relations, love, marriage, commercial relations, audience… It is, in my opinion, one of the best positions in an Aimed Solar Return, probably the first in absolute!

I advise you to avoid, for him, Costa Rica, because there he would have a stellium in the eight House, as to say an Ascendant in the 12th House. No even Olinda, Brazil, because he would have Mars in the 6th House, Sun in the 6th House, a stellium in the 6th House, like saying an Ascendant in the 12th House. Very terrible.

I suggest to Ravi moving its next Aimed Solar Return in San Francisco or in Saipan, Marianne Islands: two good solutions.

When I began to push my relatives and my friends to move their Solar Returns, departing from 1970, ALL my world colleagues said that I was crazy. If you want, you can find, in books, magazines, public and private libraries, acts of congresses, my personal track in this way, with the totally hostility of the whole world.
Until a few years ago, every colleague, excluding my ex students and today very special colleagues, said that it was a crazy thing, a nonsense operation.
Just a few years ago, unexpectedly, in every country of the world, hundreds of colleague told: “Moving the Solar Return? But it is obviously! We always made it!”.
Now, you can search the tracks on the argument of Solar Returns, the written tracks and not the word tracks, of my colleagues in this field. You will able to discover a unique realty: there are not old publications on this argument and some colleagues today write books on the Solar Returns, books of words and philosophy, but they don’t’ know the meaning to send over 20.000 people, in 39 years, to move a Solar Retun, in a practical mode and not in the theory.
Saying so, I don’t want to push you to feel in my school. I have an only important, I think, advice for you: check the rules of the different authors and after see, with your eyes, only with your eyes, where a big part of the truth is.

Le paure dei genitori
Per Olrak. Scusami, ma il tuo racconto mi provoca un po’ di ilarità. Ricordo un medico ossessionato dal fatto che il figlio mangiasse poco (lui era obeso) e gli gridò: “Se non mangi, ti uccido!”.
Mio padre, quando io avevo già pubblicato oltre venti libri e tenevo anche seminari universitari, parlando di me, con altri, diceva: “È veramente un uomo in gamba! Peccato che abbia quella fissazione dell’astrologia…”.
Dunque, forse non è giunto ancora il tuo momento. Potrebbe giungere tra un anno o mai, ma per contratto non siamo tenuti a fare la RSM. Molti auguri.

In my experience the aspects of a Solar Return, “all” the aspects of a Solar Return, even the Ascendant and MC aspects, value about zero. But it is not my intention to force convincing you: I think that the best thing, for everyone, is to test practically the rules of a Solar Return. After we, improbably, will fall in error again.
